The new World of Warcraft expansion has officially been announced and it will be none other than WoW: Mists of Pandaria. The new World of Warcraft Mists of Pandaria expansion will feature a new panda race as well as a new class in the Monk.

The Pandaren racials have also been announced and they are as follows:

Bouncy: reduces fall damage by half

Inner peace: double rested XP.

Gourmand: +15 to cooking.

Epicurean: double stats to food buffs

The Panadren racials are definitely not as game breaking as the Goblin and Worgen racials we witnessed in the last expansion but there’s definitely some powerful abilities on the PVE front for players to want to level up their very own Panda.

Other big WoW Mists of Pandaria changes announced was yet another overhaul of the talent system. For the first time ever there will also be a Pet Battle system that will allow you to battle select pets against each other, in a format that resembles Pokemon. All those hours spent collecting rare exotic pets will finally be worth it. Also new in the Mists of Pandaria expansion are PVE scenarios as well as Challenge Mode Dungeons. Of course the Mists of Pandaria level cap has also been increased, now level 90 being max level.
