If you want to have a chance to play the new Warcraft expansion before it is released, then you’re looking for none other than a WoW Cataclysm Beta invitation. Hell, I remember back in the first World of Warcraft expansion, all my friends had found a way to get an invite to the Beta. I was left all alone back in Ironforge, dressed in my tuxedo and throwing snowballs at random Night Elf Chicks. Yea..I had hit rock bottom.
But then I promised myself that I would never miss out another chance to get a Beta invite for World of Warcraft. I joined a pretty good guild with some of my friends and we tried to all get the Beta invite at the same time with guild applications and through random fan site awards.
Guess what, I never got the Warcraft Beta invitation. I wasn’t lucky enough on fan sites and my guild decided that there were too many rogues in the guild and they would take another class to the Beta.
Skip forward to today and the WoW Cataclysm Beta, you can imagine how hungry I am for this Beta invitation for Cataclysm. I really really want and need a World of Warcraft Cataclysm Beta invitation. If you’re wondering: When will WoW Cataclysm Beta be available, or how to get WoW Cataclysm Beta invite…then I’m sorry to disappoint you but this year at Blizzcon 09, they didn’t give out any WoW Cataclysm Beta invitations! In fact currently there is no way to get a WoW Catalism Beta inviation.
However this year I am ready to pounce the second that Beta invitations for WoW Cataclysm becomes available. There is no Beta release date for WoW Catalcysm yet so I guess I’m just gonna have to be patient. The second that it becomes available I will register for the Beta of WoW Cataclysm..and of course update this site with the Cataclysm Beta details.

I don’t feel like i deserve the key more than anyone here, and sorry if this offends any of you guys, but i think you are all either focusing on the new races and class combos + new/updated areas. I would much rather prefer to play my level 1 and level through the new phasing and all. Remember they are upgrading all the zones graphics. That’s just my say.
To get a key would be great. I raided in vanilla wow and would be great to check out the graphics and lore.

i cannot stress enough that there is no open beta as of right now. this is not the official wow website. just look at the header. blizzard would never advertise a pay for powerleveling service.

omg i feel bad XD… i started playing wow pre bc rigth about the end of it when i heard of beta didnt knew what i was but i got a key sended to me by blizz trough the normal mail system and it worked… could really test everything out… well outside a mass of bugs…
The Beta invites start with good standing players after a specific time. Lich King beta was first given out to those who were at good standing with Blizzard on June 2008 and it’s release was November 2008. It was cool being one of the selected few. After June they then began having open applications for the whole population of players to have a chance to play the Lich King beta. They are in the process of the Alpha version for employees of Blizzard and their mutual friends. Beta is supposed to be released 4 or 5 months before the final month release which is scheduled for Oct 2010. The only catch for the first selected is you can’t talk about it to anyone in guild, over game or over vent,etc. They do keep all kinds of watch to who leaks info and how it is being leaked. It’s also under the agreement once you get the download of Cataclysm.

Everyone thanks for commenting but the Beta is not out yet and currently there’s NO WAY to get a WoW Cataclysm Beta Key – anyone saying otherwise is trying to scam you. I’m keeping my nose glued to the internet and will notify you all the second the Beta does come out. Either sign up for the RSS, email subscription, or just drop a comment here and I’ll make sure all of you have the best chance to get a WoW Cataclysm Beta Key.

but yea, want to level a Gnome priest more than anything – just think about it, u can finally have a party or even a raid of gnomes. I might be getting old now, but that many gnomes seems very cool

it said that if I was chosen i would be sent an e-mail and you would be chosen for good graphics card, lots of memory and some from pure luck. Hope this helps

you can sign up for any bizzard betas at battle.net just long in and look the “beta profile settings” link under manage my games. your welcome. the participants are chosen randomly.

Yeah, seems that the best way of getting a BETA key is to register your interest in your Battlenet account (everyone should ahve these by now), and try and spec up your PC a bit.
Blizzard have an autimatic hardware test that will gather info on your mac or windows system and store it. I’ve applied to both cataclysm, Starcraft II and Diablo III so heres hoping next year!!

I started WoW when Lich King was still out. I started my Char. And from this thime on, I always wondered, why I didn’t start this Game before. Why I didn’t start it in Classic times. What a feeling to have a lvl 60 Char with T3 and best Gear and then start with other players in a new World. In the Burning Crussade. But now? Well, when I hit lvl 60, I went to the Dark Portal, I’ve watched the Video of the Opening of the Dark Portal. It was so great. But when I was at the Dark Portal: There wasn’t anyone. No other Players. So I had to lvl allone. No one to share it with…. I was so sad. The same was when I reached lvl 70. I should have been so great with other Players. I really miss that time I never had!!!! So now I hope to get a Beta Key. To forget all these Things. I am so glad to start with my Guild and Friends. Now that I am lvl 80, I just want some Understanding from Blizzard, just to give me a chance to get the experience before others, just like they had before me. Just to give the “new Players” a Chance to be interesting for the Oldschool Players…

As like everyone else you have to apply to get a beta key at the official world of warcraft page. You can also edit your beta profiler account in battle net and opt in for world of warcraft universe. Beta is not yet out, so when it is in beta we will make sure to let you all be the first to know.

If in the event we are granted the ability by blizzard to hold a beta key contest ONCE beta is released since IT IS NOT we will post the contest on our page.
FALSE this is a FAN site. Cataclysm beta has NOT been released and when it is we will let you be the first to know. YOU WILL NEED a beta key when beta is released to install and participate in the beta like well all OTHER betas blizzard has done. Blizzard does on occasion grant fan sites beta keys to give away as contests. In the event this site is chosen to give away a beta key we will post it on here as a contest.

From what I here Cataclysm is entering/in the Alpha stage so there
actually this is not true, it has been confirmed blizzard has already sent the first wave of beta press invites as WoW.com has confirmed this. The deadline for response was April 15th to have accepted and put yourself in the pool. Beta is still on target for April release.
The beta invites will be going out soon after the press gets a chance to accept/decline their invites GL everyone and have fun i suppose if u get one

How do i get the WOW Cataclysm Beta?
@tim like every other person, go into your battle net go to beta profiler, set up your “Screen shot” of your computer check war-craft universe to put yourself in the beta pool. From those pooled people will become the beta testers for cataclysm. Only a small amount will be permitted to beta test. WE DO NOT GIVE BETA KEYS you have to use the chance of dice with blizzard

Yea you gotta go through your battle.net account to get a chance. Though people with stronger high end machines will get better chances. Alot will say it does not matter, But blizzard does not want people with weak systems that really won’t stress that game testing, when they are trying to find the breaks, flaws, and weaknesses of the program. So if you got a pathatic system, I suggest you upgrade an update your system specs. I know I play the current wrath at full max with max frames, an even in 25’s with full aoe my system does not enough get stressed. Hopefully I get lucky to get in..haha

You know they leaked the Sandbox beta version of it you can be lucky to find on internet.

I would LOVE to get a beta key for cataclysm, i have been gaming my entire life ( well since i was about 5) my favourite game as a kid was “Pool of Radiance” in the 80s, my favourite game now is WOW and WOW wot a game!
For those of you that read what chazzron put about only having a chance if you have the latest hardware in your system, don’t give up hope, and it’s still good to opt in for beta. Just as much as blizz would like to test max hardware requirements, they are surely just as interested in finding mininumum spec for a system that is playable. you can be playing on a pci vanilla bus type card and still be chosen. i know this from experience since i haven’t had the money to throw at a new mobo. sc2 is going to be great btw. good luck to everyone in opt ins for cata.

I have stated on this site several times about how to opt into beta and I constantly see on the site “I want a key give me a key please, key now, I want it nao” and so on, and I tried to respond to everyone of them but then I gave up LOL. Heck I even have posted new posts on the site giving details on how to opt in.

You sound like you fell for a hoax Wartick, I strongly suggest you change your password and get an authenticator if you dont already have one. The beta has NOT came out yet and once you activate your self in the que, once the beta comes out you have a chance at being randomly drawn out of the pool.

So i got an email from WoWAccountAdmin@blizzard.com saying that I been accepted to the beta and go to some website. I think now it was a hoax. I just got whispered in chat today that i was accepted to go to **REMOVED BY ADMIN FOR SECURITY** as well and that I got accepted. Is this a hoax too? Am i OK as long as I have an authenticator?
That will be a hoax as well. Do NOT fall for ingame whispers BLIZZARD WILL NEVER WHISPER YOU AND TELL YOU, that you got into beta. You although have an authenticator may still be at risk for a middle man hack. Scan with malware Bytes and your anti virus to make sure you do not have a trojan on your system.

the last thing i did on my account before i got hacked was get an in-game mail message with an invite to Cataclysm, i logged out and had to log into a website and registered. it looked like a genuine us.battle.net website, but the next time i tried to log in, my account had been suspended for Gold trading which is something i wouldn’t be caught dead doing. Don’t be fooled. it was very convincing, even the mail was sent by “BLIZZARD”… watchout guys.
@CHrixbix they may be convincing but there are signs we can look for to determine if they are a real deal or not.

The test realm is not the beta. Thats the Public Test Realm. BETA invites are NOT out yet. Once they come out I will make sure everyone is the first to know.

i have had lots of the “your account is about to be baned” even a fiew you have been selected for beta. first thing i do is mouse over the links and find out what the real link is ( most of the links will look real but when you mouse over, on the bottom of the screen you can read the real link that is always somthing like wow-bliz-login.com crap
and dont belive those ingame messages from usblizz ect…

It asks you to go to a website, where you can install an uploader for your system specs.
It is listed as a forgery and also may well contain malware and other such annoyances which will result in your account being hacked.
As has been pointed out – opt in for the invites through your battle.net account.
I won’t list the exact address here as it might be deleted soon – but for some people if you see the address with “wow-audit-management-blizzard.com” – believe me its not real!!!

first thing for those of you who haven’t (and forgive me if I’m stating the obvious is to opt in on battle.net, log into your account and click ‘beta profile’ and then cross your fingers that blizzard are kind and give you a key when they beta goes live. However one thing to note is you need an active subscription to be considered.

@josh they dont send you beta keys in game, they will be activated on your battle net and not require you to go to any site or click any link that isnt already in your battle net. Dont fall for scams.
You all do know that Cataclysum their are going to be some idiotic changes… First of all the Priest is going to be alot easyer to kill because their making it so they can possibly run out of mana… The druid tree of life form is being removed… Spell/Attack power is being removed… Here are some good things: Flight mounts in azeroth… More of a balance between horde/allance because its harder to level up on the horde… New races Goblin/Wargin… New class combinations for example The human can finaly be a hunter lol… and the Tauran can be a palidin… the troll can be a druid… and that is perty much it…

I have been playin for 1 year and i love the game. I first bought a battle chest (wow classic, BC and 2 guides) just after BC came out. I loved the game but could not get any further than lvl 16.
. Patch 3.3.5 was a big improvement on the chat and because of it chatting has been easier than ever. I’d love an invite (no key can be sold 
goes through some sort of email) to the cataclysm beta.

I quit the game after a while. A year ago i wanted to play again so i did. Im glad i did. The improvements made the game a lot easier. I now have some higher lvls, like 50-70 range. My highest lvl character is lvl 71

Hey guys just so you know blizzard is not using actualy “keyes” for the Cataclysm beta. If you are selected You’re account will be automatically upgraded and you will be notified via email from noreply@battle.net or noreply@blizzard.com
You will not be required to perform any additional steps to gain access and anything asking you to do so is a scam indefinitely. The ONLY emails that are real are from an @blizzard.com or @battle.net address.
Example of fake domains…
battle-net.com, blizzard-wow.com battle.com, and ESPECIALLY ANYTHING WITH “beta” or “cataclysm” in the URL or email adress.
Oh ad to people that are saying this site is a scam it really isn’t because it is not asking anyone for any info or claiming anything at all. It’s moderator has stated himself several times that the only to get into the beta is to opt in via battle.net and has asked people to stop asking for keys.
Most people that have posted here are just idiots or children and that makes it look like a harmful scam or malware site.

i got a beta key, though i dont know where to use it.-
Battle net isnt GIVING keys, they auto activate your account for beta and allow you to do the download. IF you got an invite into beta then log into your battle net and download thats all.

Are you all retarded? You CANNOT share Beta Keys, they will be linked to your Battle.net account. this thread is stupid. you all need to learn wtf you’re talking about. And if you’ve never been BlizzCon, or haven’t got “of the Nightfall” titles in-game, then you stand no chance of getting a Beta Key. Cata’s Betas are only going to be given out to “extreme WoW players” high ranked guilds etc. So basically, either be a cunt and download a Torrent, or just stfu and wait till it’s relased, cuz I assure you – Blizzs’ probably read this, and thought “you sukka n00bs aint testein Cata – impatient f***s”.

@Arron this site was created at the announcement of Cataclysm and at that time nobody knew if “keys” would be given or not. The owner of this site wrote this article, and it does need to be updated. A lot of people still don’t understand the key thing and I have tried in multiple posts to explain it. This site also reports to blizzard any posts of gold spam, or any “sites” claiming to give away cataclysm keys, and their IP’s are banned. I try in as many ways possible to protect the fans of this site.
How do i enter Wow Cataclysm Beta?
Look people, as much as my girlfriend would like to test cataclysm, it has not happened yet. Granted, i think it is crap that blizzard sent my ex wife an invitation to test cataclysm when her account is under 3 types of investigation and suspension from her 1: trying to sell her account for cash, 2: trying to use cheats/hacks in WOW on her account, and 3:it seems her account was also being hacked into (or it was tampered with) so why should she be allowed to get the beta (her email is fireandiceangel@hotmail.com, thats what she uses to login) and i think if anyone should be allowed that beta it is definitely NOT MY EX WIFE. my GF (blu156@hotmail.com) should be allowed, she is honest and an avid player of WOW. Am i asking blizzard to send her an invite, yes, will i get mad at blizzard if they don’t … no. but all my gf wants to do is help blizzard make the game that much more awesome and great for others to play. call me hypocritical for myself asking for a beta invite for my GF, but at least i am not begging for a key, GROW UP NOOB’S!!!
