		<description>The next xpac will get rid of str, stam, agi, spir, int, crit, haste, and anything else that might differentiate it from other gear. Also all cloth, leather, mail, and plate will now be know as &#039;wearable&#039;... All gear will now have a &#039;goodness&#039; rating. You no longer have to decide between haste or crit... Now you can just look at the &#039;goodness&#039; rating to determine what gear you want! No more of that pesky &#039;variety&#039; that cost us money to design!</description>

		<description>First, I am for the stat changes. I play a warrior who mostly tanks, and though I am a bit nervous, I am sure Blizzard isn&#039;t ruining my toons main role with these changes. We will just have to wait to see how it all works out.

As a side not. RESILIANCE NEEDS TO GO!

Yes, I am a PVE&#039;r. I understand the complaint that pvprs dont want pve heroes pwning them in BG&#039;s. Just because this was the case back in vanilla doesnt mean the only solution is the complete opposite. As it stands right now no pve geared player stands a chance against a pvp geared player (if they are of relatively equal skill). Is this MORE fair than the old system? Sure... people who dedicate themselves to pvp should have an advantage. Is it balanced? Hellllz no. 

The solution. Create pvp gear that is only slightly skewed in favor of pvp. Make it so that the pve gear does NOT dominate, but at least stands a chance. 

I used to enjoy pvp, it was a very fun diversion and sometimes I would go through a phase where I would do nothing but pvp for weeks on end. I would always go back to my raiding though. Now I dont even bother. It sucks that a whole portion of the game is effectively off limits for me because unless you have an unreasonable amount of time to dedicate to the game you have to choose either pvp or pve... most people cant gear well for both.</description>

		<description>This change has to happen. If you look at how Bliz fixes problems in the past the take the problem out of the system, work on it off line, and then re apply it. Any one remember no fall damage on vanilla beta because people would die walking down stairs, they took fall damage out completely till they fixed it. when you have a gear list that contains gear that gets people caped at arpen crit hit def dodge anything, you cant just keep adding more crit/hit/def rating to gear, the cap will keep going up and slowly but surly you will get to a point where bosses hit tanks for 50 damage and hunters have 100% crit. you have got to rework the stats because gear is already getting to a point where it is way higher then the content. look where the game is out now even compared to BC. I remember when you HAD to mark, you HAD to CC the right mobs on EVERY pull. Now its just follow the tank around a heroic and beat the mobs with sticks. Look at healing, heals are on such a higher level then damage recieved. In order to increase game difficulty for healers now all they have been doing is adding AOE damage in raids. There comes a time when thats not satisfying and you go somewhere else to play. So bliz is simplifying everything, requiring people to relearn their classes and learn how to play all over again. If you think its going to put everyone on the same level your wrong. Face rollers will always be face rollers. Sorry everyone if you put an hour into this game a day you will still be no where as good as people who commit a large amount of time. STOP FREAKING OUT enjoy the ride.</description>

		<description>The game is being simplified in terms of what stats you need to track, but they may be as far as it goes as far as simplicity goes. As far as gear goes, you will still have to get it. Raiding will still not be an open forum for ppl. Some of the folks above make it sound like you will log in and have all the gear handed to you. Lets face it, the game has ALWAYS been about upgrading your gear. 

For those of you bothered with the thought of &quot;individuality&quot; in terms of your toons....it doesnt exist even now. The caps are teh same for everyone. The only reason there is some difference in what ppl are wearing is because they just have not won the role for the item yet, or because they dont raid. If they are not raiding, its most likely that they do not posses the knowledge of how to properly play thier toon, regardless of the fact that they have pretty much free 5k+ gear score due to badge gear now days. People who cant play their toons are still not going to make the cut in cataclysm.

They read the same sites you do, copy your talent tree and gemming from your armory, but they lack the knowledge of how to play. This is what seperates the raider from the common player, the PvPer from some person making a casual run through BG/Arena. You will lose nothing overall, you just no longer have to track so many numbers. The numbers alone do not a good WoW player make.

Raiding guilds will still be the top raiders and you will still be abel to tell someone who cant play thier toon by thier DPS/Healing output or the number of times they die by standing in teh damn fire. You hardcore PvPers, you aer still gonna be able to whack the noobie regardless. Thier gear does nto save them now, it wont in cataclysm. Everyone is overlooking the most important part to success in any aspect of this game, and its knowing how to play your toon. I know everyone here has seen someone well geared blow chunks. Give yourselves some credit and stop laying your succes on the numbers so much.

Difficulty will not be any less. You think just because you no longer have to track your defense rating you can auto tank...fat chance. And they are bringing changes to talent trees, glyphs and what not. You are going to have to relearn some things. Dont get pissed about it, its time to buckle down and figure out how to play the new setup. 

Soemone above mentioned there will no longer be &quot;noobs&quot;. There will always be noobs, they are easy to see regardless of gear. Once the action starts, they stand out like sore thumb. Its not the stats combining that is going to affect you, its teh changes in teh talents. New builds will be made, haste requirements will chnage.....ppl hate change, they would rather stay tucked in under a nice worn comfortable blanket. Dont hide under the blanket.</description>

Almost all of these stats didn&#039;t exist anyways.  And as far as Im concerned the new haste will be incredible for rogues and hunters!!!! Can&#039;t wait.  The only thing I&#039;ll miss is Spell Power, and Attack Power, there are no algorithms needed for that...the more the better ^_^


You keeps saying it takes back individuality do you raid?!  IF you did you would know that ONE peice of mainset gear drops off each boss for each spec *figuratively speaking* that you want...it doesnt matter what the side stats are, if its a better over all piece you need on it...where is the individuality there? STFU and roll with the changes.  Its wow!  It&#039;s not like we AREN&#039;T gonna play.</description>
