WoW Cataclism, Cataklysm, Cataklism, Cataclsm, Cataclysmic, Kataklism

World of Warcraft new expansion has an interesting name, it’s not World of Warcraft Cataclism, Cataklysm, Cataklism, Cataclsm, Cataclysmic or anything of that sort. It’s simply World of Warcraft: Cataclysm.
The reason for such a weird and largely foreign word to the many of the 11 million or so foreigners and kids playing the game is because this word is the central theme of the Wow’s third expansion.
As was done in some cases in WoW The Burning Crusade, and extensively in WoW The Lich King – in WoW: Cataclysm, there will be phasing that will allow you to witness change to your environment and characters as you perform actions and complete quests.
If you’re too lazy to check up on the definition of cataclysm to understand what this WoW expansion is about, then here is a short cataclysm definition for you: a sudden violent change in the earth’s surface.
So with the cataclysm, World of Warcraft’s very own Azeroth will see a complete change in look as well as modifications to the mobs, the previous dungeons, and some areas might be completely destroyed or flooded (as will be the case for Thousand Needles).
I have a feeling that much like the rogue class has been misspelled to death for the past 5 years, the name of the new World of Warcraft expansion will have a similar fate. Next time you see someone call it WoW Cataclism, World of Warcraft: Cataclystic or WoW Cataklism, or WoW Kataclysm or some rubbish of that sort, don’t forget to correct them…its simply WoW: Cataclysm.
