Patch 3.3.3 has a lot of data in it in regards to Cataclysm’s epic prologue. Goblin Racial Traits and Goblin Racial Abilities in WoW Cataclysm

• Best Deals Anywhere – This is a passive racial ability that will allow you to save money. Hardcore players and PVP fanatics won’t really care much about this one as money is not something that can really give you an edge over other players. Casual players or those who are stingy about money will nevertheless appreciate this goblin racial trait that allows you to save some money when purchasing vendor goods, whether it is quest items, consumables, reagents, or other items that you may want to buy from an NPC. 
• Pack Hobgoblin – This Goblin racial allows you to call a servant for duration of 1 minute which allows you to put items in your bag in the bank, or alternatively allows you to fetch items from your bank that you need to use while ‘out on the battlefield’. This is no doubt a powerful ability, and one that will have alot of utility, both when you’re leveling or you’re just out doing some instances and need to fetch an alternate build gear or some consumables that you ran out of. It has a 30 mins cooldown and will leave many other players jealous when you do make use of him in dire situations.
• Better Living Through Chemistry – This is a passive 15 skill boost to Engineers of the Goblin race. Perhaps we will see in the Cataclysm expansion some gadgets that can only be made/used by only Goblin engineers as a result of this advantage. Another area where it might help is for twinks who like to buy grenades and other items – which at that level has large implications.
• Rocket Barrage – This next Goblin racial ability fire your belt rockets towards an enemy, inflicting fire damage. There is only a 2 minute cooldown, and initial tests have suggested this is off the global cooldown, so it will be a great source of ‘free’ extra damage to goblin classes.
• Rocket Jump – For only a 2 minute cooldown, this racial of Goblins in WoW Cataclysm will allow you to jump forward, either to catch up to enemies or create some distance between yourself and an opponent. This is one of the most overpowered racials seen to date in WoW up there with the old Will of the Foresaken. This is compared to the Warrior ultimate ability called Heroic Leap in the last expansion that failed to make it in the game due to programming difficulties. Other races in WoW are going to need a boost to their own racials if Blizzard doesn’t want people to complain too much about this IMBA racial.
• Time is Money – A 1% increased attack and spell haste is nothing to sneeze at, and will give goblin DPS classes out there yet another way to outdamage the so far ‘lesser races’ of Warcraft

Worgen Racial Traits and Worgen Racial Abilities in WoW Cataclysm

• Viciousness – This Worgen racial will allow all Worgens to do 1% extra damage overall. This includes both physical attacks and spell attacks, so it is beneficial to all players who are into DPS.
• Dark Flight – For 10 seconds, Worgen run at 70% increased speed using this extremely overpowered racial ability. The cooldown is only 3 minutes, and I can’t possibly imagine how this is going to be balanced during PVP play. A free sprint to some classes is just not a good idea IMO.
• Abberation -This Worgen racial is a passive skill that reduced the length of Curses and Deseases by 15%.  Here’s another interesting racial that is not really balanced around PVP when you consider it severely affects two specific classes: Death Knights and Warlocks.
• Flayer – As a Worgen, you will no longer need a skinning knife and you skinning skill will be increased by 15 plus you get to skin faster. This makes sense in terms of lore and Blizzard will surely give some nice bonuses to those who have max skinning skill PLUS this 15 points from the racial.
• Two Forms – With a 1.5 second cooldown, you can switch back and forth between a Worgen beast or a human – but you can only do so outside of combat. During combat, you will always remain a Worgen as you should be.This is a cosmetic shift that will please the RPers out there and those who like to mess around in the capital cities tricking noobs – perhaps it can also trick some new PVPers when you’re out in a BG and people think they are attacking some Human player, although I can’t think what would be the advantage of that.

Overall it seems that Goblin racials are the most overpowered in this new WoW Cataclysm expansion and Worgen’s aren’t too far back with their quite ridiculous sprint ability. Blizzard has noted that each race in WoW Cataclysm will receive an uphaul to their racials so fear not. We will report the following racials in the future when they are announced:

Hope this clears up any confusion you had over the Worgen and Goblin WoW Cataclysm racials, and please don’t start freaking out (too much) over how IMBA they are just jet, because as just mentioned there WILL be new racials for the classic WoW races in Cataclysm.

For now here are the new racials  for Goblins and Worgen.

Goblin Racials in WoW Cataclysm:

• Goblin Racial – Best Deals Anywhere – You always receive the best discount regardless of faction. This means that you will be saving alot of money if you happen to purchase alot of stuff from vendors -> think of stuff like quest items, profession items, items when you’re leveling in WoW Cataclysm (this is huge), and maybe even regeants (would perhaps be too much).
• Goblin Racial – Pack Hobgoblin – This racial in Cataclysm will call your personal servant allowing you bank access for a duration of 1 minute. 30 mins cooldown. This is a borderline IMBA racial in WoW Cataclysm. How many times have you had no space in your bags and been forced to throw some valuable stuff away or even some bandaids or something.
• Goblin Racial – Better Living Through Chemistry – Goblin Alchemists will have their skills increased by 15. My first thought is that this would allow Goblin twinks in WoW to perhaps have an unfair advantage at the 19 an 29 brackets due to the usefulness of engineering at those levels. 
• Goblin Racial – Rocket Barrage – This Goblin racial ability launches your belt rockets an an enemy, dealing fire damage. 2 min cooldown. It is primarily a source of another burst damage potential that is off the global cooldown, and that is a pretty overpowered racial trait if you ask me.
• Goblin Racial – Rocket Jump – This goblin racial trait will activate your rocket belt to jump forward. Anyone remember that Warrior ability in the last expansion called Heroic Leap. Rocket Jump for Goblins sounds like Blizzard took that failed ability and strapped it on Goblins. Goblin mages who frost nova, blink and rocket jump are gona be annoying that’s for sure.  2 min cooldown only too!
• Goblin Racial – Time is Money – 1% increased attack and casting speed. To top off the list, why not just hand Golins a 1 increase attack speed….Blizzard wants us all to resubscribe to Wow and play Cataclysm as a Goblin, so a little dps boost won’t hurt would it.

Worgen Racials in WoW Cataclysm:

• Worgen Racial Trait: Viciousness
  • +1% damage is given to Worgen’s and I can already see dps meter freaks lining up to pick up this extra advantage.
• Worgen Racial: Dark Flight
  • +Worgen get 70% run speed for 10 seconds. Yes, that is pretty much a free Worgen sprint! 3 minute cooldown
• Worgen Racial passive ability: Abberation
  • Warlock and Deathknights are surely going to whine about this: Length of Curses and Diseases reduced by 15%.
• Worgen Profession ability: Flayer
  • Skinning skill increased by 15 and allows you to skin faster. Skinning knife not required for skinning.
• Two Forms
  • Switch to your currently inactive form. 1.5 sec cooldown.
  • This is a cosmetic switch that transforms you from Worgen to Human, or Human to Worgen in Cataclysm.
  • In combat you will always remain a Worgen, but when you’re out of combat you can play some mind tricks on people.

These are definitely some powerful and very cool racial abilities and racial traits and lets hope that the other races in WoW Cataclysm also get new racials that match the ones given to Goblins and Worgen.

Unfortunately for druids and paladins, WoW Cataclysm will not allow the creation of Goblin Druids or Goblin Paladins.

The Goblin’s starting location will be off the coast of the Barrens. The stories is something along the lines of Goblins being enslaved by the evil Deathwing, and some Goblins escaping to this refuge and joining forces with the Horde.

If Alliance players are now wondering if they will get ambushed by the Goblins over at Gadgetazan or Booty Bay, the answer is no: those NPC’s remain neutral alike the other races in neutral towns. However, the name of the new expansion IS World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, so I wouldn’t put it against Blizzard t reshape the traditional areas we have come to recognize and become familiar with in Azeroth.

The Goblin racial ability in WoW Cataclysm is yet unannounced, but it should be something to do with the bombs those pesky little creatures love to play with. Perhaps being able to throw a small grenade or such will be their racial ability – and that certainly would be cool.

Which classes will Goblins in WoW Cataclysm be able to play as you ask? My guess would be as hunters, mages, shaman, and warriors.

Making the goblin race playable will definitely get alot of players to reroll. Who wouldn’t want their own little goblin running around and creating havoc. I can already imagine Horde capital cities flocked with goblins who have picked up engineering and try to blow each other to pieces with their bombs and crazy gadgets.

Fights between gnomes and goblins in World of Warcraft Cataclym will be a thing of beauty, I think I will laugh every time I see it. More information about the now Horde goblins in WoW Cataclysm will be revealed as it is announced.

You might have noticed that in the orginial World of Warcraft game, the Burning Crusade expansion, and also the Wrath of the Lich King – you never saw any Tauren Paladins or Human Hunters for example.. That will all change when in WoW’s latest expansion, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm you have the option to choose between at least 11 new combinations!

So here the new classes you can play with your favorite race that you couldn’t before:

-Troll Druid – Goofy looking trolls turning into different animals, definitely interesting!

-Tauren Priest – Who knew huge cows were so religious

-Undead Hunter – Undead player with a scary looking pet will definitely be something scary to face

-Blood Elf Warrior – Your main tank can now be a good looking lil blood elf, how cute. NOT

-Night Elf Mage – Shadowmelded Nelfs casting pyrobolts outta nowhere…I’m sure there’s gonna be some raging of this in the forums

-Human Hunter – Crocadile Dundee INC!

-Gnome Priest – Good gnome priests are just going to be everyones favorite little midget.

-Tauren Paladin – Someone quickly go make a character called HOLYCOW!

-Dwarf Shaman – Perhaps dwarves will be able to hide behind their totems and not be seen..

-Dwarf Mage – I can’t imagine a dwarf shooting fireballs…I just…can’t.

So there’s definitely some new race-class combinations available in the upcoming expansion. Will it be reason enough to reroll, personally I don’t think so but there’s always the type of people that will. Whether it is a racial advantage for their class, just to be the first on the server to be a holycow, or simply for the lorelovers – there will definitely be alot of people who will level up to maximum level of 85 when these new classes and races in WoW Cataclysm become available.

Don’t forget: go ahead and reserve those cool character names before everyone else takes them after WoW Cataclysm is officially announced.
